      • REGENSBURG, GERMANY: SEPTEMBER 13 – Right-hander Spencer Kreisberg pitched eight sparkling innings of two-hit baseball, and Zack Wiley broke a tight game open with a three-run home run in the top of the ninth inning as Great Britain started the European Championships with a 7-1 win over Sweden.

The GB Baseball Team assembled in Prague on Monday 8 September, had two training sessions on Tuesday, played two six-inning scrimmage games on Wednesday and will have one more training session Thursday morning.

      • National Baseball Championships for the BBF's National Baseball League and AAA Divisions were held at Farnham Park on the weekend of 30-31 August. The Essex Arrows were crowned as National Champions for 2014 and the Cambridge Royals captured the 2014 AAA title.
