| National Baseball Championships 2008 |
British Baseball is proud to announce the National Baseball Championships 2008 'Final 4s'. Fourteen teams from across the country will come together in Croydon on September 6-7 for the year's best weekend of baseball as the domestic season reaches its climax.
The pinnacle of the event is the crowning of the National Baseball League Champion. There are also AAA, AA and A Division champions titles at stake. Four teams will compete in each group, except A Division where it is a head-to-head between the top two teams.
Spectators are welcome and car parking is free. There will be food and drink available on both days, and programmes will be available.
Note : The venue of Roundshaw Playing Fields, Croydon is still subject to final licensing and usage approval by London Borough of Croydon.

National Baseball League Winner & runner-up NBL North (1,2) Winner & runner-up NBL South (3,4)
AAA Division Winner AAA North (5) Winner AAA South Group A (6) Winner AAA South Group B (7) Best runner-up team from across AAA (8)
AA Division Winner AA North (9) Winner & runner-up AA South (10,11) Winner Midlands Division (12)
A Division Winner A South Group A (13) Winner A South Group B (14) [There is no A-Division outside of the South]
Format
The format of the tournament will see games played on two diamonds on both Saturday, September 6 and Sunday September 7 at Roundshaw Playing Fields in Croydon.

Final League Standings
Final league standing positions will be taken. BBF byelaw 2.21 applies to determine standings where teams have the same record (i.e. games won to lost percentage) in the regular season:
1.The team that has forfeited the fewest games during the regular season 2.The direct head to head won/lost record between the tied teams 3.The direct head to head lowest total of runs conceded in the regular season between the tied teams 4.The drawing of lots
