Liverpool Trojans withdraw from National Baseball League
The Board of British Baseball announces Liverpool Trojans' withdrawal from the National Baseball League.
Northern Senior League Commissioner Matthew Norburn confirmed that the club was unable to complete its remaining schedule of regular season fixtures. Games already played will still count in the standings. Future fixtures and current postponed ones will result in a forfeit win being recorded for the teams that are due to play Liverpool.
For team webmasters entering the result of their game against Liverpool Trojans the usual method of recording a forfeit will apply. The forfeit cannot be entered ahead of time but it can be recorded on or after the game day.
Doubleheader (7 inning) fixtures against Liverpool will each be recorded as a 7-0 win by the opposition webmaster.
