Youth National Baseball Championships (YNBCs)

.

YNBCs - Youth Age Groups

The BBF will be organising the YNBCs around the following age groups:

  • Under 17 (note: the BBF are permitting this age-group to be expanded to Under 18 in view of the small number of active players nationally in this oldest age-group)The championship will follow Little League Seniors tournament rules
  • Under 14 This championship will follow Little League Intermediate tournament rules
  • Under 12 This championship will follow Little League Minors tournament rules
  • Under 10 At present, this age-group is purely at consultation stage and it will only go ahead if there are sufficient teams to stage a tournament. This championship will also follow Little League Minors tournament rules.

IMPORTANT: Southern Qualifiers are scheduled to be played on the 5/6 Sept at Herts ( Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire HP2 6LB)

Tournament rule books and fees
As per previous emails sent earlier this season, if you need a copy of the Little League rules then Will Lintern of BaseballSoftballUK will post you a copy of the 2015 rule book.

Note: this is dependant on your team paying the applicable BBF affiliation/Little League Charter fees. If your team is new and you missed the original registration during the pre-season, you must settle these fees in full to be eligible for these tournaments.

If you still need to pay your fees, please contact Dan Lally (BBF Treasurer)
