The Bristol Baseball Club has recently featured on BBC Radio Bristol and will shortly be seen on local television in support of Sport Relief.
Following a very successful first-of-the-year indoor training session on Sunday, March 11, Dan Looney and Tom Hollies from the Bristol Baseball Club were on BBC Radio Bristol on Tuesday evening, March 13, talking about the club and the upcoming season. Additional information about Bristol Baseball Club can be found on the club's website.
And the club is about to make an appearance on local television.
A team from BBC Bristol will be filming at the club's home diamond in Failand on Friday, March 23, as Presenter Ben Prater attempts to complete a “24 sports in 24 hours” challenge for Sport Relief.
Ben will be coming to Failand to try some baseball hitting and fielding skills at 11.00 am on March 23, and everyone is welcome to watch the action and support Sport Relief. BBC filming will be for a maximum of 30 minutes, so is likely to finish around 11:30 am.
The club has an indoor backup plan if the weather is poor on the day, to be announced the night before on the Bristol Baseball website and Twitter feed.
