The Hull Scorpions hosted the final weekend of the BBF's AAA North Division regular season on Sunday 17 August. The weather was turbulent at best, but both teams played through the wind and rain and two wins over Halton meant that Hull edged out Liverpool for the division title.

The three teams heading to the playoffs in the BBF's AAA Central Division were all in action on Sunday 17 August. The division champion Cambridge Royals split a pair of games with the Rebels in Nottingham and the Milton Keynes Bucks took two games (one by forfeit) from the Birmingham Maple Leafs.
