24 April: Trojans sweep Robots while A’s and Lions split in Northern Conference action

The first meeting between the Liverpool Trojans and the Bolton Robots of Doom in several years took place on Sunday 24 April in the BBF’s Northern Conference and it didn’t disappoint. After a first game blow-out, Bolton fought back in Game Two, but the Trojans stole it with a late walk-off win.

It is has been a slow start to the season for the four teams in the BBF’s Triple-A South Division, with their first few games rearranged due to issues with facilities. But on Sunday 24 April, the season started properly for all four teams.
