The Oxford Kings and Cambridge Royals cancelled each other out in the pick of the action on Sunday 9 June in the BBF's AAA South Division. Both teams remain in joint first place, as the Bristol Badgers and London Mets II split their doubleheader and failed to close the gap.

The Daws Hill Spitfires stayed perfect in the BBF's AA South Division on Sunday 9 June, but dropped to second place by having won fewer games than Hove Tuesday, who swept the Kent Mariners. Guildford Mavericks swamped the Southampton Mustangs II while London Mammoths beat the Richmond Dragons.

There was no shortage of runs once again in the BBF's Single-A Division on Sunday 9 June as offensive explosions kept the scorekeepers busy. Milton Keynes staged a dramatic comeback, scoring five times in the top of the ninth before winning in extra innings.

It was a big day for the NBL on Sunday 9 June as the Nationals defeated the Arrows, the Blazers were swept away by the Falcons and the Mustangs took home two wins from Feltwell Park. But Sunday's doubleheaders didn't all go as expected, as the Pirates shocked the Mets with an upset in Game Two.
