Sunday 16 August was meant to be a busy day in the BBF’s Triple-A South Division, but with the Herts Eagles forfeiting to Richmond and Brighton forfeiting to the London Metros, all eyes were on the Oxford Kings and London Mammoths as they battled for the final playoff spot.

Pitchers reigned supreme in both of the rescheduled games at Cartmel Priory on Sunday 16 August in the BBF’s Triple-A North Division, as runs between Hull and Cartmel Valley came at a premium. Hull had already secured the divisional title, but Cartmel still had the chance to seal a playoff spot.
