A number of new ideas for enhancing and growing British baseball were at the heart of the 2013-14 BBF AGM and Congress, held on Saturday 9 November at the Holiday Inn in Leicester. Around 60 people from just over 20 clubs attended, with 53 votes available to be cast for motions and elections.

On the weekend of 4-6 October, the Essex Arrows and Essex Redbacks both competed in the annual MEET (Missing Ear European Tournament) in Neunen, Holland. This was the fourth time for Redbacks but the first for the Arrows. Click through for the story told from both clubs' point of view.

The fifth annual class of the British Baseball Hall of Fame (BBHoF) has been announced, and there are four new inductee. The inductees include three long-serving and well-decorated players as well as someone who built the backbone for British baseball’s historical recording.

The Manchester Fall Tournament, held on Sunday 29 September at Wythenshawe Park, featured teams from Oldham, Cartmel, Sheffield and Manchester playing a friendly end-of-season Cup competition on a sunny autumn day, and Cartmel went home with the trophy.
