Oxford Kings are heading for the playoffs from the BBF's AAA South Division on run differential at the expense of the Bristol Badgers, who missed out in agonising circumstances on Sunday 25 August. Oxford rebounded from a 5-1 loss to score just enough runs in Game Two to edge through.

Liverpool and Halton shared the spoils on Sunday 25 August, the final weekend of the regular season in the BBF's AAA North Division. Both advance to the AAA playoffs on 1 September as the top two teams in the division. Meanwhile, Cartmel Valley took a double forfeit win over Menwith Hill.

GB Juniors lose 5-4 thriller in Durban

The Great Britain Junior National team lost a 5-4 thriller to the KZN Provincial team in Durban yesterday. Both teams played excellent baseball and, despite a late drive in the top of the seventh by GB, KZN were able to hold onto their lead for the victory.

The Great Britain Junior National team beat a Boland regional side 15-1 in the second game of their tour of South Africa, moving GB to 1-1 for the tour. In addition to the victory Team GB also took in the sights of Cape Town and coached a group of young players at a clinic in Boland before the game.

GB Juniors lose opening game of South African Tour

The Great Britain Junior National team lost 10-3 to the Western Province All-star team in the opening game of their tour of South Africa. Despite the loss, there were some excellent individual performances and the entire team had a chance to turn their arms over following an intense day of travel.
