17 May: Knights and Kings sweep in Triple-A South while Eagles and Redbacks split

It was an interesting day of baseball in the BBF’s Triple-A South Division on Sunday 17 May as the London Mammoths stumbled for the first time, losing both games to the Richmond Knights, while the Oxford Kings took two hard-fought games from the Brighton Bulldogs to run their record to 4-0.

Baseball in the BBF’s Triple-A North Division was back on Sunday 17 May when the Cartmel Valley Lions made the trip to Bootle Stadium to take on a reduced Liverpool Trojans side. But there was enough fight in the Trojans to come back from a mercy rule Game One loss and split the doubleheader.

Hull Scorpions to host BBF Cup semi-finals and final for North and Central teams
