Once again, only a single game was played on Sunday 18 June in the BBF’s National Baseball League, with the Herts Falcons travelling to London to play the Capitals.  A close win for the home team moved them a little closer to the final NBL playoff spot.

The Herts Falcons travelled to Brighton on Sunday 11 June for the only game scheduled in the BBF’s National Baseball League, and pulled out a 9-8 win that left them only half a game behind the Jets at the bottom of the NBL standings.

4 JUNE:  LONDON METS SWEEP SOUTHAMPTON TO TAKE OVER FIRST PLACE IN THE NBL

The London Mets breezed into Southampton on Sunday 4 June to challenge the first-place Southampton Mustangs.  First the Mets won a low-scoring thriller and then they won a slugfest, and when the doubleheader was over, the Mets were on top of the NBL standings.
