Badgers and GB Jr squads 3 July 2011
The Badgers helped raise £1,200 for the GB Junior squad by hosting a doubleheader
before the national team departs to Florida for an international tournament. Various fund raising activities took place on the day, including a raffle and refreshment sales which combined together raised over £300. A great deal of thanks goes to local businesses for contributing raffle vouchers and prizes, and also to the fans who attended the matches on Sunday 3rd July.
Badgers home opener 15 May 2011
The Badgers had our home opener on the Failand grounds on Sunday 15 May. Several days of hard work by some club members made our diamond one of the most unique in Britain, complete with foul poles down the lines, and our logo behind home plate. The home opener was well supported, and we hope to see you there again soon!

“The Hoff” had been appearing in the pantomime Peter Pan at the Bristol Hippodrome, starring as Captain Hook (beware all you starting pitchers!) and some members of he Badgers, winners of the regular season AAA South division last summer, were able to talk baseball and other sports with him.
The Bristol Badgers succumbed to just their third loss of the season to the 2010 champion Oxford Kings while the London Metros picked up two forfeit victories in a rearranged fixture with the Richmond Knights.
The AAA South leaders, the Bristol Badgers, pulled out all the stops when they hosted the GB Junior National team on July 3 as part of the GB team's build up to the USSSA Gold Medal Games in Florida.
