Twenty-seven aspiring young baseball players from London and the South East were put through their paces at a US college-style tryout session hosted by the London Mets on Thursday, January 19.
Since 1987, LondonSports.com has been running an independent youth baseball and softball league in central London, which caters for over 500 children each year. This year, on its 25th anniversary, the club will enter a Bronco team in the BBF's Southern Youth League.
Record numbers of junior and senior players turned out for the first Essex Redbacks training sessions of 2012 as the club looks to build on a successful 2011 season.
