Great Britain Cadet National Team, 2011
The Great Britain Cadet National Team is for players celebrating their 13th, 14th or 15th birthday in the year in question. So for 2011, players born in 1996, 1997 or 1998 would be eligible.
Players may be invited to participate in tournaments in Great Britain or overseas; and may be invited to practices intended to either prepare for competition or as a development opportunity.
In April 2011, the GB Cadets will send two squads to international competition. First, the Cadets will compete from April 13-17 in the PONY Qualifier Tournament in Prague, Czech Republic. Then, they will join the GB Juniors in a trip to Kissimmee, Florida for the USSSA Gold Medal Games from July 6-17.
This year, the GB Cadets will travel to Kissimmee, Florida to compete in the USSSA Gold Medal Games from July 7-16. You can view some footage of France and Italy competing in last year’s Games.
