The new year will see some important changes for the Southampton Mustangs Baseball Club, including an earlier start to training and open tryouts for both of the club's teams.

Postseason play reached the National Baseball League on 3-4 September with two teams advancing to the National Baseball Championships, while two saw their dreams bite the dust.

The Nationals and Mustangs went to extra innings in both games of their double header on Sunday, August 14, eventually splitting the wins. The Mets and Flames also split, while the Diamondbacks extended their lead in Pool B.
