Sport Scotland is the national agency for sport in Scotland. Its mission is to encourage everyone in Scotland to discover and develop their own sporting experience, helping to increase participation and improve performances in Scottish sport.

International Baseball

Confederation of European Baseball (CEB)

International Baseball Federation (IBAF)

IBAF is the world organising body for baseball. British Baseball is a federated member of IBAF through its membership of CEB. Check here for details of the world game and also IBAF-led initiatives and tournaments.

Major League Baseball (MLB)

MLB is the organising body for top-level professional baseball in the United States and Canada. MLB works internationally to support local development of the sport and to identify top talent for its leagues.



BaseballGB is a site dedicated to writing about baseball from a British perspective. Matt Smith leads a team of writers who cover domestic and national team baseball in Great Britain, as well as looking at US Major League Baseball from a UK perspective. In addition, Matt's Baseball Basics for Brits provides an invaluable introduction to the sport for newcomers.

Project Cobb

Project Cobb (the Project for the Chronicling of British Baseball) was established in October 2008 with two overarching aims: one, to unify and support the various efforts to publish historical details of baseball played in Britain under modern rules; two, to promote the preservation of baseball history in Britain as it happens.

This Project Cobb archive includes full southern top-tier stats back to 2001, additional, single-season and career records, a list of individual champions where known, and a catalogue of feats.

Project Cobb Archive : GB National Team

Building on a large body of research by Josh Chetwynd, this archive includes a full year-by-year history, player biographies, and lists of performances and players.

The Society for American Baseball Research - UK Chapter (SABR UK)

The UK Chapter of SABR, the Society for American Baseball Research, largely devotes itself to researching the history of baseball in Britain.
