Project COBB (the Project for the Chronicling of British Baseball) is an online collaboration that was established in 2008. Its mission is three-fold:

  1. To support efforts to research and publish historical details of British baseball.
  2. To help make digitized copies of British baseball artefacts available online.
  3. To promote the preservation of history today, through scoring and photography.

Project COBB is run independently of the British Baseball Federation, but founder member Joe Gray was awarded a Life Membership of the body in 2010 to acknowledge the work of the initiative. It is a Chartered Community of SABR (the Society for American Baseball Research).
